Adams State hosts RMAC women’s basketball playoff game Tuesday
MARIO Caetano calls his Adams State women’s basketball team a resilient force for their 20-win season and ability to get into the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference playoffs for the first time in more than a decade.
The Grizzlies will be at home Tuesday to take on Westminster College (Salt Lake City) beginning at 6 p.m. at Plachy Hall. Adams State was fourth in the conference during regular season play with a 16-6 record, 20-8 overall on the season. Westminster was fifth in the conference with a 15-7 record, 17-11 overall.
Adams State enters the RMAC playoffs with momentum, having won two games over the weekend including a surprise 64-60 win over Colorado School of Mines. That victory sealed a playoff berth for the Grizzlies and gave Adams State a signature win heading into Tuesday’s game.
Adams State defeated Westminster 70-55 during the regular season in a game at Plachy Hall.
