AHS students sign letters-of-intent for college sports

SAN Luis Valley high school student-athletes are signing their letters of intent for college. Here are recent signings from Alamosa High School.

Senior student athletes Mary Macias and Isaac Higareda signed letters of intent to continue as student athletes at the collegiate level this week.

Mary Macias will play volleyball for Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. Isaac Higareda will run cross country, indoor track and outdoor track for the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS.)

Macias was a team captain, first team all league and second team all state volleyball player at AHS. Higareda was team captain, first team all league and first team all state in cross country.
