THE Alamosa County Clerk and Recorder’s office erred in its instructions to voters for the primary election. Voters received instructions that identifications are required to be included in their mail ballot but that’s not the case. Only newly-registered voters are required to show an identification with their ballot.

Alamosa County Clerk and Record Nicole Jaramillo said the inaccurate instructions “was a mistake on my part.” Her office mailed out a correction to the instructions to voters in Alamosa County.

The primary election day is Tuesday, June 28. Voters have until 7 p.m. on June 28 to return their ballot. Here’s a look at the ballots in each county in the San Luis Valley.
