Alamosa’s Main Street closed for resurfacing on Wednesday

THE city of Alamosa will perform a resurfacing project on US 160 Main Street in downtown Alamosa next week, Wednesday, May 18. CDOT crews will re-stripe the newly paved surface. The one-day paving and re-striping operations will require a full closure of the one way street from West Avenue to Denver Avenue, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The work will take place as long as weather permits. 

Westbound through-travelers and local commuters are advised to use Fourth Street as an alternate route. Motorists will be guided by signage and flagging personnel. Cross streets will remain open to motorists. All businesses will maintain sidewalk access for pedestrian traffic.
