La Puente’s Candlelight Winter Vigil

Each year, during the coldest month of the year, January, La Puente observes National Poverty Month to remember and honor those struggling with poverty and/or homelessness and those whom we have lost in 2022. We will hold a Candlelight Vigil at 6 p.m. on January 19th in front of La Puente’s shelter, 913 State Ave. The event will be held outdoors, as we stand in solidarity with those without a home and those who experience the winter night’s harshness routinely.
