Health and Wellness Fair offers free screenings

SACRED Heart Catholic Church, in collaboration with the SLV Area Health Education Center, is hosting a free community-wide Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, Feb. 11. The Love Your Sweet Heart Health and Wellness Fair will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Faistl Parish Hall, 715 Fourth St. in Alamosa, CO.

Free screenings will include cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure and A1C. Lab results will be available within minutes. For optimal results, fasting for 12 hours with water consumption is suggested, but not required.  The CDPHE COVID-19 Vaccine bus will also be present, those who obtain a COVID-19 Vaccination will be given a $50 gift card while supplies last.
