Next50 workshop at Adams
HOW about an oil painting crash course with Connie Grant, or making tamales with Sandy Ortega? Or you could learn the traditional Spanish dance Los Baila’s de Antas from Daniel and Joyce Lopez, or take an intro to geology class from Chayan Lahiri. All possible through the Adams State University Next50 Initiative, which is a series of workshops aimed at getting those age 50 and older moving and engaged with the university and the community.
Adams State Extended Studies is hosting an information session on Tuesday, Sept. 6, to help you learn more and to sign up for upcoming workshops. The open house is scheduled for 5-6 p.m. in McDaniel Hall, Room 101.
