Pollinators highlighted in April Forest Specialist Series
THE Rio Grande National Forest has all kinds of pollinators hard at work. On Wednesday, April 26, at 5 p.m. join Doug Clark, wildlife biologist for the Rio Grande National Forest, as he talks about butterflies, bees, birds and bats, and other kinds of pollinators. The online program will be held via Zoom. Visit the Forest website or Facebook page for event information and links.
In partnership with the San Juan Mountains Association, this event is part of the Rio Grande National Forest’s “Forest Specialist Series,” a once-monthly online presentation to share information with the community.
Did you know some of the most significant contributors in the National Forest are some of the smallest creatures that live there? Clark will be sharing ways to get involved and contribute to research about pollinators.
Clark has spent more than 27 seasons with the Rio Grande National Forest, surveying for, and working with various species of wildlife.
