THE Acequia Institute in San Luis is hosting classes June 30 and July 1 on Indigenous foods, including cooking, foraging-wildcrafting, and preparation of wild and cultivated plants as medicine for community health and well-being. The classes, each from 8 a.m. to noon, are free to local residents. Other guests are asked to make a $20 donation.
The three courses are offered with grant support from The Colorado Health Foundation.
