Jamie Dominquez and the Five Star Riders Car Club will be slow ridin’ and then jammin’ when they roll out their Muscle Cars & Scrapers Car Show followed by a Historic Zapata Park Jam on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The car show will happen at the Adams State McDaniel Hall Parking Lot beginning at 9 a.m. and is part of the Adams State Homecoming activities. An awards presentation is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Following the awards, the cars will take a slow ride and end up at Historic Zapata Park located on Ross Avenue and Ninth Street for a concert featuring Brown Boy, a Latin rap music artist, as well as music groups from the San Luis Valley.
The concert at Historic Zapata Park is scheduled to last from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Admission is free.
