NARROW Gauge Book Coop’s Summer Author Series continues with Kali Fajardo-Anstine, author of Woman of Light, this Saturday, June 25, at 5 p.m.
One of the most anticipated books of 2022, this national bestseller has been called “a dazzling epic of betrayal, love and fate that spans five generations of an Indigenous Chicano family in the American West.” Locations in this piece of historical fiction include Denver and southern Colorado.
Kali Fajardo-Anstine is also the author of Sabrina & Cornina, a finalist for the National Book Award, the PEN/Bingham Prize, the Story Prize, and the winner of an American Book Award. She is the 2021 recipient of the Metcalf Award from the American Academy of Arts, and is from Denver, Colorado.
Narrow Gauge Book Coop is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The coop is located at 602 Main St. in Alamosa.
