THE Alamosa Veterans Day Parade was greeted with sunshine, waving flags and happy faces when it marched down Main Street Alamosa on Thursday morning. The Centauri Middle School and High School band brought the music, and American Legion 113 Color Guard led the way.
Another Veterans Day Parade had been scheduled at the Colorado State Veterans Center at Homelake. Unfortunately it had to be cancelled. The Veterans Center at Homelake remains home to veterans from around the Rocky Mountain region.
