Polished Bean Haunted House
Get in the spirit of Halloween with the Polished Bean’s Haunted House at 1935 Grande Ave. in Monte Vista. The haunted house is open for visits from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, and then again Halloween weekend. Cost is $15 at the door.
Freemon’s Haunted Ranch
Freemon’s Guest Ranch in Creede offers a Haunted Ranch for the Halloween spirit. The Haunted Ranch is open for visits from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Freemon’s Ranch is at 39284 CO-149 in Creede. Cost for the Haunted Ranch is $5 for ages 6 and up. Under 6 is free.

Circus Monster Mash
The Circus Monster Mash at the Alamosa Family Rec Center has all the fun of a traditional circus with talented acrobats, magic, jugglers with a special Halloween twist. The show is at 1:30 p.m. in the Main Gym of the recreation center at 2222 Old Sanford Rd., Alamosa.

Adams State Theatre
Adams State University Theatre presents the dark comedy “You are What You” written by Mora Harris and directed by Kathylee Duran. Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. October 27 through October 30, in the Xperimental Theatre on the Adams State campus. While the play has lots of emotion, there are also a lot of laughs.

Society Hall Concert
Singer-songwriter Robin James has been called a powerhouse, whose voice shoots straight to the heart. James performs her unique Folk/Pop style in concert with Don Richmond at Alamosa’s Society Hall. Her musical style is influenced by the Blues, Alternative, and Country music, creating a savory mix. Her range is incredible and her vocals have been termed acrobatic. The show is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets at $20 in advance; $25 at the door.

Dia De Los Muertas 5K
Head to San Luis for the Dia De Los Muertas 5K Color Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, Oct. 30. The 10 a.m. event begins at the VEGA entrance on Highway 59 at the south end of San Luis. Entry fee is $15 for youth 16-under, $20 for adults. Sign up at raceentry.com.
