THE Alamosa City Council has an opening following the resignation of Kyle Woodward. Woodward stepped down from his Ward 2 seat on Wednesday by saying he needed to dedicate and prioritize his time to his business and family. He made his resignation effective immediately.
“We appreciate Councilman Woodward’s service and dedication during his time on Council,” said Mayor Ty Coleman. “We understand the need to prioritize his business and family and wish him much success in his future endeavors.”
Woodward was in his first year as a city councilman. The city council will appoint a replacement for the remainder of the term that expires in November 2026.
