The Valley Roots Food Hub (VRFH) has launched the Summer 2025 Fresh Box multi-farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. This year’s program runs from Tuesday, July 10, through Thursday, Oct. 2.
The program requires a 13-week commitment and aims to support sustainable agriculture, encourage seasonal eating, and keep our dollars within the community.
Every Thursday, shareholders will receive a box of specially curated produce and value-added items designed to support a family of 2-4 people. Along with this delicious selection, shareholders will also receive a weekly newsletter that includes updates on CSA activities, producer profiles, creative recipes, highlights from the warehouse, and tips for storing produce.
The Fresh Box CSA program brings shareholders fresh produce from growers across the Colorado bioregion. In July, shareholders can expect to find Western slope stone fruits, spring onions, chiles, sweet corn, field lettuce, leafy greens, and more in their boxes.
Alamosa SLV customers are encouraged to use the VRFH pick-up locations in Alamosa, Crestone, Del Norte, and Saguache. Home delivery options are available for an additional fee.
