As part of GFWC International Day of Service on Human Trafficking, the Woman’s Citizenship Club is hosting a community forum this Saturday, Sept. 27, on human trafficking at the local level. Joining a panel discussion will be members from the district attorney’s office, Tu Casa, local law enforcement, and the victim service agency Reclaiming Hope.

A question-and-answer session will follow the panel discussion. The event begins at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 2005 Mullins Ave., in Alamosa.

The presentation is free and open to the public. The GFWC Woman’s Citizenship Club is requesting donations of either 40 inch by 60 inch fleece blankets or a 12- to 14 inch stuffed animal. These items will be given to Reclaiming Hope.
