Ent Credit Union is the latest donor to the Early Care and Learning Center by Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Luis Valley. Ent and BGCSLV announced a $100,000 donation that will be distributed over multiple years to help with the financing of the construction project.

The early childhood learning center is currently under construction. Boys & Girls Clubs has raised more than $7 million toward its goal of $9 million to cover construction costs.

Ent’s donation will establish a “Parent Welcome and Resource Center” inside the new building.

“This is more than a building — it’s a promise to families that affordable, high-quality care is possible,” said Boys & Girls Clubs President Aaron Miltenberger. “We’re deeply grateful to Ent Credit Union for helping bring that vision to life through the Parent Welcome and Resource Center.”

Ent opened its first San Luis Valley branch in Alamosa in November 2025.

“Affordable, high-quality childcare is a need we see across Colorado,” said Annie Snead, the credit union’s vice president of community impact. “When families have access to care, parents can stay in the workforce and businesses can thrive. We’re proud to support BGCSLV, an organization that is doing the hard work to bring a truly transformational project to life.”
