A closing reception for art exhibit Adams Apples by Adams State alumni art educators working in K-12 classrooms across Colorado is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26, at the Cloyde Snook Gallery.

“Although these great humans don’t get to work on their own artwork as much, the Adams Apples exhibit shows the personal art works and studio practices, and student works created in their classrooms across Colorado and beyond (Alaska),” said Tony Guntren, gallery director and assistant professor of art at Adams State.

Artists featured include Susan Andrews, Rogelio Briones, Jimmy Crane, Jesse Crock, John Dodds, Jenna Eaton, Butch Jones, Jeanie Lynn Norwood, Dawn Ortiz, Ben Quinn, Angel Ramos, Kirsten Riccatone, Annie Troncoso and Maya Waddington.

The closing reception is from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The Cloyde Snook Gallery is located in the Visual Art Building at Adams State. During the same time frame, the Hatfield Gallery will host student artwork from the Crestone Charter School.
