The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) has unveiled its new logo, along with a branding and style guide, that the association will implement beginning with this 2025-26 school year.
“This logo is more than just a new look; it represents who CHSAA is and what matters most to our membership,” CHSAA Commissioner Mike Krueger said. “The last time we had a brand refresh was in the 1980s, so it was important to us that while we looked to the future, that we were also respectful of our past, as the flag logo has represented CHSAA’s identity for the last 30-plus years.”
The new logo, developed by Rickabaugh Graphics, is a shield shape, symbolizing the strength and unity of CHSAA. The three stars above the Colorado Rockies represent high aspirations in academics, athletics, and activities. Additionally, the font used for the “C” in CHSAA is inspired by the Colorado state flag, emphasizing statewide representation. The alternate color for the “HS” in CHSAA reflects the organization’s membership of high schools.
This updated logo retains CHSAA’s primary color of blue while introducing gold to highlight tradition and success.
The new brand identity, which includes championship logos and variations of the logo, will be unveiled throughout the 2025-26 school year. The logo release also comes with a Brand Standards Guide to help schools put it to use.
“I want to extend my sincere thanks to our entire CHSAA branding team and to Rickabaugh Graphics for their leadership, creative vision, and collaborative spirit throughout this process,” said Krueger. “Their time, professionalism, and dedication to capturing the essence of CHSAA made this rebrand possible, and we are extremely excited about this new era.”
