The productive Subdistrict 1 of the Rio Grande Water Conservation District is also potato country for the San Luis Valley. We asked Del Norte-based photographer Ryan Michelle Scavo, aka Ry Outside, to spend a day in the potato fields as the harvest comes in. She also found the beautiful canola flower fields around the town of Center. Here’s her harvest pictorial.
