The Adams State University Luther Bean Museum is the current host for the traveling La Botica display. La Botica is a Spanish term meaning “the pharmacy.” The illustrations depict three different groups of people harvesting native plants during different time periods in the San Luis Valley. Full-color brochures with in-depth information about the culturally significant plants are also available.

The Luther Bean Museum, located on the second floor of Richardson Hall is open 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Paleocultural Research Group (PCRG) conducted the archeological survey and exhibit design and the Sangre de Cristo National Heritage Area (SdCNHA) supported the project financially.
