Gov. Jared Polis made the two appointments along with the appointments of Karen Middleton of Aurora, and Thomas Kim of Centennial.
Salazar was appointed for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2024, and occasioned by the resignation of Amanda DeLaRosa of Denver. Bussey was appointed for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2025, and occasioned by the resignation of Jennifer Mueller of Alamosa. Middleton and Kim were also appointed effective Jan. 1, 2023 for terms expiring Dec. 31, 2026.
The Adams State Board of Trustees have a search underway for a new president after the board released Chery Lovell from her contract in June and appointed David Tandberg as interim president. Tandberg was serving as an Adams State Trustee when the board moved him into the interim president role.
