💼 Development Officer

Location: Alamosa, CO 
Reports to: Vice President of Advancement

Salary Range: $74,856-85,152

Type: Full-time, Professional Administrative

Make a difference by:

  • Managing a portfolio of 80–120 major gift prospects
  • Conducting 120–150 donor visits annually
  • Presenting impactful proposals for scholarships, programs, and capital support
  • Collaborating with leadership on high-level solicitations
  • Serving as a University ambassador across the region and beyond

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Philanthropy or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in development or major gifts
  • Proven success securing gifts of $10,000+
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills

💼 Manager of Annual Fund

Location: Alamosa, CO
Reports to: Vice President of Advancement

Salary Range:  $51,132-$58,164
Type: Full-time, Professional Administrative

Lead annual giving efforts by:

  • Designing and executing mass solicitation campaigns
  • Managing the student Phonathon and giving day events
  • Collaborating across departments to boost donor engagement
  • Using data and analytics to drive fundraising success

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in fundraising or marketing
  • Experience with direct mail, digital media, and donor databases
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong project management skills
