Del Norte needs mural artists.
The D Mountain Park & Recreation District has issued an RFP for a mural focused on the rich history of local foods and the contemporary “food is medicine” movement.
“The mural will celebrate our Indigenous heritage, sustainable agricultural practices, community gardens, and the enduring relationship between people and place,” according to the request for proposals.
The call is open to all artists with possible preference for San Luis Valley artists. Candidates must be 18 and older.
