Local nonprofits that help drive tourism for Alamosa are eligible to apply for up to $7,500 through the Visit Alamosa event grant program.

Visit Alamosa and the Alamosa County Local Marketing District board have set an application deadline for 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27.

“A grant is available to be disbursed to nonprofit organizations whose programs or projects relate to the promotion of tourism, arts and culture, or public events,” according to the grant application.

Priority will be given to applications that align with Visit Alamosa’s strategic goal of driving visitation during the shoulder and winter seasons of October through May. Eligible projects include those that promote tourism, arts and culture, or public events in Alamosa County.

Projects that receive funding must be completed within the grant cycle of April 2026 through March 2027.
