Quest Car Rental gets contract at SLV Regional Airport

THE San Luis Valley Regional Airport is getting a new car rental company. Alamosa County is negotiating a contract with Quest Car Rental following a request for proposal process that netted two options.

Alamosa County Commissioners moved Wednesday to accept the proposal from Quest Car Rental and charged Airport Director Will Hickman with finalizing a contract that would have Quest Car begin operating April 3.

Quest Car got the nod over Southwest Colorado Car Rental based in part for its online reservation system. Under the request for proposal, Quest will provide a minimum of seven rental cars and operate 365 days a year. 

With Alamosa, Quest Car Rental now operates at four locations in three states. It also has car rental services at Medford, N.J.; Jamestown and Dunkirk, N.Y.; and Apalachicola, Fla., according to its proposal.

Quest is owned by Centric Car Rental, LLC.
