The Saguache County Democratic Party invites the community to an important social gathering on Friday, Feb. 6, from 5-8 p.m. at the Baca Grande Property Owners Association Hall, 68575 County Road T, Crestone.
At a time when many people are feeling the weight of national and local challenges, this gathering is meant to create space for conversation, connection and shared commitment to preserving our democracy. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about the Democratic Party in Saguache County, ask questions, learn about opportunities for action and to talk openly about the issues that matter most to our communities — all in a spirit of respect and inclusion.
People from all walks of life and all political affiliations are welcome to attend. Candidates running for office are encouraged to join, bring campaign materials, and share a few words if they wish. Whether you are deeply engaged, newly curious, or simply looking for a way to connect with others who care about the future of our county and our country, you are warmly invited to come, share a dish, and be part of the conversation. There are many opportunities for action including letter writing, getting out the vote, campaigning and canvassing and more.
